Today, we're honored to introduce the heart behind Outlandis Corp — our founder and owner, Oliver Landis III (also known around here as “the boss”).

Oliver started Outlandis in 2011 after years of working in corporate America, determined to build something of his own — something rooted in faith, family, and hard work. What began with the purchase of a single mobile home park has grown into a family-operated company that proudly owns and manages two communities in the Columbia area, with nearly 150 pads and a devoted team focused on making residents truly feel at home.

A few years ago, Oliver expanded into becoming a licensed dealer. Through integrity, strong relationships, and word-of-mouth referrals, he sold 13 homes last year alone — many to friends and families who trusted him to guide them through one of life’s biggest investments.

Oliver is a proud Marine Corps veteran who served during the Gulf War, a devoted husband of over 30 years to his wife Courtney (the real boss), and a proud girl dad. He embodies true leadership — kind, compassionate, hardworking, steady, and strong — leading not only our company, but our family and community with a commitment to faith, service, and doing what’s right.

If you know Oliver, you’ve likely seen him outside — surrounded by dogs and horses, laughing with a Fresca and grapefruit juice in hand. His mission has always been simple: help as many people as possible become homeowners.

Hello! I’m Olivia Landis, the youngest daughter of Oliver and a proud partner in our family-owned manufactured home business. Having grown up in this industry, I developed an early appreciation for what a home truly means. To me, a home is more than walls and a roof — it’s the place where life unfolds, families grow, and memories are made.

I graduated from the University of South Carolina with degrees in Biology and Psychology before beginning my career in Occupational Therapy. That experience gave me a unique perspective on how people live in and interact with their homes, and deepened my understanding of the importance of spaces that are comfortable, functional, and supportive through every stage of life.

Today, I’m grateful to combine my background with our family’s mission of helping people achieve homeownership. I firmly believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to have a place to call their own.

My passion for people, love of decorating, and commitment to helping others allow me to guide our clients through the home-buying journey with care, patience, and attention to detail.

Howdy y’all — my name is Griffin Reese, and I’m a partner here at Outlandis Corp, a small, family-run team made up of my girlfriend, her father, and myself.

I grew up in Greenville, South Carolina, and from a young age, I knew I wanted to be in this line of work. I used to watch my grandfather, Monk, stay up late working on architectural drawings. He was an architect, and seeing his passion for design and building spaces for people sparked something in me early on. From that point forward, I knew I wanted to help people find a place they could truly call home.

I went on to attend the College of Charleston, where I studied Historic Preservation. That experience pulled me deeper into the development world and opened my eyes to the importance of affordable housing and creating opportunities for families who deserve a fresh start.

After college, I completed internships with commercial brokerage and development firms, gaining hands-on experience in real estate and construction. Along the way, I met the love of my life — whose dad happened to be in the manufactured housing business. I quickly fell in love with the purpose behind it all and realized this was exactly where I was meant to be.

Today, I get to work alongside people who truly care. At Outlandis, we’re a small but dedicated team that believes in going the extra mile, staying hands-on, and making deals work in ways larger sellers often won’t. We care about the people we work with — not just the transaction.
